How my photography journey started...

Growing up in an artsy and creative family, I was always surrounded by the different talents and interests that my family had and it was always intriguing to me how we explored and created whether individually or together. I eventually picked up photography as a hobby in high school and began to take it more seriously in college, this was where I was able to explore and ultimately got hooked on to taking photos more frequently. During this time, my interest and passion for creative and styled photo shoots continued to expand and shortly after, I became the photographer for the Inclusion and Diversity Department at my university where I had the opportunity to photograph numerous events and phenomenal social and civil rights activist guest speakers.

I was selected to be featured on my university's Art Magazine, Satori, for three consecutive years. During the last year of my undergrad, my work was chosen to be on the front page of Satori!!! This was such a huge feat and you bet my friends and I grabbed more copies than we should have.

I don’t take photos to just take photos, taking photos is creating art for me. From the beginning to the very end, to capturing the moment, to the editing - everything is curated to the feeling and vision. As a creative soul and artist behind the lens, I firmly believe in the liberation from limitations. I am passionate about creating endless opportunities to explore, express, and bring stories to life through my work. Getting to capture moments in my personal and professional life will always be a part of me, and I only hope to help bring your vision to life with you.
